Tikalara Park is a large area of remnant bushland, in the Yarra Valley Metro Parklands, in the outer eastern suburb of Donvale, about 20 km NE of Melbourne.
The Main Yarra Trail (35 km) passes through the Park, which adjoins Petty's Antique Apple Orchard and Candlebark Park.
The Yarra River borders the Park, and a feature is the Lookout Platform at the confluence of the Yarra and the Mullum Mullum Creek.
The original Homestead, built in 1836, is nearby.
The pictures were taken on a 5 km return hike through the Park on March 23, 2007.
