Ballarat-Skipton Railtrail - Scarsdale to Nimmon'e Bridge




The 56 km Ballarat to Skipton Railtrail is for the use of walkers, cyclists and horseriders.

It follows the alignment of the old Ballarat-Skipton railway, which operated from 1883 until its closure in 1985.

The album shows the Trail and scenery on the Scarsdale to Casey Rd Section, which we completed on December 16, 2007, about 12 km return.

The main feature of this walk was the superb Nimmon's Trestle Bridge, over the Woady Yallock River.
