Warrandyte River Reserve

The Warrandyte River Reserve is a scenic strip of remnant bushland adjacent to the Yarra River, 20 km east of Melbourne.

A 2 km walking track offers pleasant views of the Yarra and the resident ducks!

I explored the Reserve on December 22, 2007, a day marked by torrential rain and flooding across Melbourne.

The Yarra was a raging torrent
