The Sequoia Track is one of many scenic trails in the Arboretum, Olinda Forest, 40 km east of the Melbourne CBD.
It links Dam Rd with Rock Track.
It passes through the extensive Sequoia Plantation, which was commenced in 1977, seeded from North America, (botanical name Sequoiadendron Giganteum) ("Big Tree") - some specimens have now reached enormous heights.
There are good views from Dam Rd across the Arboretum to the Yarra Ranges.
I explored this Track on August 15, 2008, a very cold, wet, and foggy day!
