On August 23, 2008, I went out to the Churchill National Park, 30 km SE of the Melbourne CBD.
I did a 4 km walk, starting at the main picnic ground, following Channel Track, Kangaroo Track, and Ridge Track.
There were good views across Melbourne - one large-sized Eastern Grey Kangaroo met me on Ridge Track!
Near Channel Track, there were more Eastern Greys, including several little joeys looking out from their pouches!
This Park is in good country, but the huge visually intrusive HV transmission lines disssecting it are an eyesore.
