Mt Eliza Regional Park is a compact regional park established around the former Moorooduc Quarry, about 50 km south of Melbourne.
On September 17, 2008,I parked next to the Lake, in the Moorooduc Station picnic area, reached from the Moorooduc Highway, and explored this scenic Park on a 4 km hike.
This took me around the Lake, to the Quarry, and through bushland around the Quarry Circuit Track.
The panoramas from the lookouts above the Quarry were impressive, across the Moorooduc Plains.
The Photo Album shows many of the points of interest of my excursion.
