Olinda Creek Hike in early Spring

The Olinda Creek Track is a 2 km signed circuit, starting at the junction of Olinda Creek Rd and gated management Road 13, in the Dandenong Ranges National Park, 35 km east of the Melbourne CBD.

The Track is seldom used, and is adjacent to the Olinda Creek, near the confluence of Lyrebird Creek.

A short side-track leads to the Creek, where a depth indicator is located, managed by Melbourne Water.

The track passes through remnant and regrowth forest, in a former logging area.

See all of the Photos, which show the scenery, a selection of very colorful spring wildflowers, the tracks, the creek, and the access gate at Road 13.
