Flinders - West Head and Ocean Beach

These pix were taken on February 22 2012, at Flinders, 90 km south of Melbourne, on Westernport Bay.

My visit included a 3 km hike, starting at the car park at the West Head Lookout, then down the long steep staircase to the Ocean Beach, and along the beach to the lower car park lookout opposite Mushroom Reef.

My return was along Golf Course Rd, past the viewpoint overlooking the Flinders Jetty, and passing the prohibited-access Naval Training Facility.
