The township of Marysville, 90 km east of Melbourne, was almost completely destroyed in the tragic bushfires of February 2009.
There has been an amazing tranformation since, with many new houses, shops, malls, information centres, community centre, heritage trails and buildings having been built, and more on the way!
A new sports complex with a marvellous grandstand is among the latest structures!
I visited Marysville on March 20, 2012.
