Black Flat is a goldmining heritage precinct in the Warrandyte State
Park, 15 km east of central Melbourne. Alluvial gold was mined in the
1870s. My visit was a 3 km circuit hike on July 9, 2012, which passed the old diggings,
the Yarra River, and the site of Mullen's Orchard.
See all of the Photos of my visit!
