This was a 4 km (return) hike starting at Elgar Rd, Mont Albert, near my home, and ending at Doncaster Rd.
The route was along a section of the Koonung Trail, next to the Koonung Creek.
Points of interest were Elgar Park, the Box Hill Miniature Railway, the Wetlands, the Boardwalks, the high bridge over the Creek, the bushland, the many ducks, the lookout, and the clifftop sector.
This is a shared trail, and is popular with walkers, joggers, hounds, parrots, pigeons, and prams!
