These pix were taken on September 3, 2013, in the Pound Bend eastern paddock, Warrandyte State Park.
This section of the Park was added in 1984 -it was formerly a market garden, and is now owned and managed by Parks Victoria.
It is locally known as the "Kangaroo Paddock", due to families of kangaroos which frequent it, but none were to be seen on this visit!
