These pix were taken on Feb 23 2014.
They show the scenery and environment around Aura Vale Lake, adjacent to and north of the Cardinia Reservoir, Selby, 45 km east of the CBD.
My visit included a 2 km (return) hike around a section of the Lake, starting at the Henley picnic area.
A sign proclaims that Melbourne Water and Parks Victoria are planning to construct a Trail around the full perimeter of the Lake in due course.
