Wilson Reserve and Wetlands, Ivanhoe

Pix of July 9 2014 on a 2 km hike in the Wilson Bushland Reserve, Ivanhoe, along the Yarra Trail.
 

This 45 hectare wetlands area is of significant historical interest - an info board on the trail describes the early settlement of the region and provides background about the original owners. 
 

Access is from Burke Rd North, then the Boulevard, and along Irvine Rd to the car park and playground, where the main walking track starts.
