On Oct 12 2015 I visited the Longridge Bushland Reserve, Warrandyte, adjacent to the Yarra, which includes the Longridge Bush Camp (managed by Parks Vic)
The Reserve is at the end of Alexander Rd, north of the Warrandyte Secondary College, and was formerly a large farming property.
Kangaroos inhabit the Reserve!
Public vehicular access to the Camp requires a Permit (available from Parks Vic) - walkers may enter without a Permit.
The Yarra is reached by following the gated management track down the hill.
