Dandenong Police Paddocks - May 6, 2016
A 3 km exploration on May 6t, 2016, starting at Churchill Park Drive, then along Baden Powell Drive, Belair Avenue and Lansdown Rd.
These tracks are the remains of a network of sealed roads which were built in 1964 for the Australian Scout Jamboree, attended by 16,000 boys, held in the area.
Many of the tracks retain their original names, and parts of the the old asphalt surfacing may be seen.
All of the photos of this visit may be viewed in slideshow format at the Photobucket Album!
