Barmah National Park - Barmah Lake

The Barmah National Park is a national park of 25,000 hectares located in the Hume region of the Australian state of Victoria. It's adjacent to the Murray River near the town of Barmah, approximately 220 kilometres north of Melbourne. The park consists of River Red Gum forest and wetlands. The area is subject to sporadic flooding from natural and irrigation water flows. 

These photos were taken on January 13, 2018 at the Barmah Lake Day Visitor Centre, on the eastern edge of Barmah Lake. Very scenic, adjacent to the Camping ground. The Centre is reached by following the Cobb Highway north of Echuca/Moama for 31 km, then along Barmah Rd to the small township  of Barmah, then on an unsealed road through thde Murray River Reserve. The opposite bank of the lake is in New South Wales, with Moira Lake next to it.
