These pictures were taken on January 14, 2018. The Observatory is 12 km east of the town of Maroutha (41 km north of Echuca/Moama on the Cobb Highway), reached from the Picnic Point Rd.

Colorful round two-sided pivoting info boards are located along the boardwalk, describing many of the birds which inhabit the area. These boards have small loudpeakers over which the sounds of the birds may be heard when the boards are rotated. The audio may also be heard on smartphones equipped for QR bar-code scanning.
