These photos were taken on October 25, 2018, in the Orchard Grove Reserve, adjacent to the Orchard Grove School and Fulton Rd. The area was formerly orchards, which survived until the early 1960s.
An information board near the childrens' playground at the end of Orchard Grove describes the history of the area.
Though not visible at ground level, the furrows of the old orchards can still be seen on the attached 2018 aerial photo of the area (Whitehorse Council Maps).
