Middle Gorge Trail - Plenty Gorge Parklands
The Middle Gorge Park forms part of the Plenty Gorge Parklands, 25 km NE of Melbourne.
There is a pleasant 2 km (return) walking track from the main picnic ground alongside the Plenty River, which produces excellent views of the gorge, the river, the rugged cliffs, and the resident ducks!
The main lookout is on the main road about 500 km from the picnic ground, which reveals fine views of the gorge and the river.
I went out there on September 4, 2006.
