Baldry's Crossing Walk in Green's Bush

Green's Bush, of 1400 hectares, 90 km south of Melbourne, is the largest remnant of bushland in the Mornington Peninsula.

The State Government classified the area as a "Classified Landscape" in 1974, and it was incorporated into the Mornington Peninsula National Park in 1975.

There are lush moist fern gullies - Peppermint, Messmate and Manna Gum are the dominant overstorey Eucalypt species.

This album shows the scenery along the Baldry's Crossing Circuit Walk (5 km), in the northern section of Green's Bush.

The pictures were taken on November 26, 2006.
