Green's Bush, of 1400 hectares, 90 km south of Melbourne, is the largest remnant of bushland in the Mornington Peninsula.
The State Government classified the area as a "Classified Landscape" in 1974, and it was incorporated into the Mornington Peninsula National Park in 1975.
There are lush moist fern gullies - Peppermint, Messmate and Manna Gum are the dominant overstorey Eucalypt species. This album shows the scenery along the Baldry's Crossing Circuit Walk (5 km), in the northern section of Green's Bush.
