This is a 3 km (return) walk in the Warrandyte River Reserve, 25 km from Melbourne.
The walk uses the shared cycling/walking track for most of the journey, as well as along the lower level foot-track.
The river views are superb!
Much of the surrounding area was completely burnt out in the disastrous bushfires of January 1962 and the regrowth has been amazing.
I did this walk on December 29, 2006.
