The rugged Mountain Creek block of the Kinglake National Park, 65 km NE of Melbourne, is a public area of the Park still under development.
It includes the highest mountain in the Park - Andrew Hill - 453 m.
I did a 6 km hike along the eastern end of the Mountain Creek Track and the southern end of the Andrew Hill Track on February 20, 2007.
This started and finished at the car park near Gordon's Bridge, off the Melba Highway.
Regards from Melbourne!
