The summit of Mt St Leonard is 1010m ASL, 65 km NE of Melbourne, in the Yarra Ranges National Park.
Best access is by a 4 km (return) walk from the track entrance, on the Monda Rd, off the Myers Creek Rd, north of Healesville.
The views are in my opinion among the best in the Park, looking across the entire Yarra Valley, the Toolangi State Forest, and everything in between!
The tall buildings of the Melbourne CBD are visible on the horizon!
The photos show the track, the views, the summit, the communications tower, and the Monda Rd, which links to the Tanglefoot Walking Track.
This is 4WD terrain!
I did the trip on February 17, 2007.
