Firewood Track is in the western section of the Kirth Kiln Park, near the town of Gembook, 70 km east of Melbourne. It passes through excellent forest and ferns, linking Beenak Rd and Thom's Tk.
I explored this 2 km (return) track on September 15, 2007, enjoying the many spring wildflowers which had appeared.
