Damper Creek Bushland Reserve

I visited the picturesque Damper Creek Bushland Reserve on November 11, 2007.

It's a 2 km preserved strip of natural bushland in the Damper Creek Valley, in the Mt. Waverley municipality, 20 km east of the Melbourne CBD.

It's a haven for many species of birds and native animals, with a circuit walking track, bridges, interpretative signs, and lagoons.

This is what this part of Melbourne looked like prior to European settlement.
