A Visit to the Wombolano Forest Park, Melbourne

The Wombolano Forest Park is a preserved bushland, in the municipality of East Ringwood, 30 km east of the Melbourne CBD.

Managed by the Maroondah Shire, it is home to a diverse number of birds and animals, with 2 km of walking tracks, and a Wetland.

Sadly, the Wetland was dry, due to the effects of the severe drought.

I visited this interesting Park on November 1m 2007.

The photos of my excursion are at Wombolano Park Album
