Yarra River Walk at Warburton, Victoria

The Yarra River Walk at Warburton, 70 km east of Melbourne, is a well-managed circuit trail, of about 6 km, looping both banks of the river.

It may be entered at several access points and bridges.

It has recently been extended by the addition of the interesting Nature Trail, crossing the Brisbane Creek, to the River View Lookout.

Detailed colored maps are shown on large Information Boards along the Walk.

Be careful of the resident ducks!

I hiked this trail on February 23, 2008, from a starting point at the east end of Warburton town, next to the Bridge.

    Hi Bob,
i'm doing a uni assignment on bridges across the yarra river. one of the bridges i have chosen is the swing bridge in warburton. i have been searchign frantically for a detailed map showing it's location within the Warburton township and the photo you have of the sign is pretty much the only thing i've found.

Would you mind if i used your photo in my assignment?

If not, is there any chance you could send me a copy of this photo as the one on your blog is of too low quality to be reproduced in an assignment.

    Cheers,
    Andrew
