The Telopea Track links Telopea and Avard Rds, Emerald, 40 km east of Melbourne, in the Dandenong Ranges.
It is the southern section of the Menzies Creek Walking Track, and has been integrated into the 15 km Dandenong Ranges Tourist Track, extending from Emerald to Sassafras.
It follows the Menzies Creek, through beautiful fern trees and forest.
I hiked this 3 km (return) track on February 29, 2008.
