On Tuesday August 25, 2009, I visited the Olinda Forest, 35 km east of the Melbourne CBD.
From Stonyford Rd, I explored Track 18, adjacent to the Olinda Creek, along Track 13 to the small weir, then return, a distance of about 3 km, passing through the beautiful Olinda Creek Gully.
These tracks were covered with leaf litter, bark, and fallen branches, as an outcome of the big storm which went through the forest earlier that day.
