Somers is a small village on Westernport Bay, about 70 km south of Melbourne.
The Coolart Homestead and Wetlands are nearby.
I visited Somers on a cold and windy day, Monday August 24, 2009, exploring the interesting Koala Reserve (surrounding a dry Lagoon), and the Sheoak and Nature Trails above the foreshore.
