On Sunday January 3, 2009, I went over to the Warrandyte State Park, 15 km east of the Melbourne CBD.
I parked at the small picnic area at Norman's Bushland Reserve, opposite the Pound Bend Tunnel, at the end of Bradley's Lane, then followed the main walking trail to the Yarra Rapids.
These Rapids are opposite the former Orchard.
This was a 4 km hike on an overcast day, but there were good views of the Yarra, the Rapids, and some boating action!
