Pix taken February 8, 2013, along the Bushy Creek Trail, Box Hill North.
This
4 km (return) shared trail runs from Elgar Rd to Springfield Rd, and
follows the alignment of the former Bushy Creek, which is now
underground in a pipe.
The Trail crosses some small streets, and
reaches the large Memorial Park, on Station St, where there is an area
of preserved remnant bushland.
A Display Board at the Park describes the early history of the area, with some heritage photos.
