The Damper Creek Bushland Reserve is in the suburb of Mt Waverley.
My visit was a 3 km circuit hike, starting at the small car park on Stephenson's Rd, near Highbury Rd, on February 6 2013.
The
main walking track follows the Creek, passing interpretative signs
describing the fauna, flora, and history of the area, which was once
populated by the Wurundjeri peoples prior to European settlement in the
1830s.
The Creek starts near Nunawading and flows to the south, reaching Gardiner's Creek.
