Anniversary Railtrail - Alamein

On April 30, 20, 2013, I did the "bottom" section of the Anniversary Railtrail (Outer Circle Trail) from Alamein station to its end at the junction with the Gardiner's Creek Trail.
 

Then followed the Gardiner's Ck Trail for about 1 km towards the City.
 

The Outer Circle Railway opened in 1890, and was progressively dismantled by the early 1940s. It crossed the Creek on the former Black Bridge, to Waverley Rd Station, through what is now the Malvern Valley Public Golf Course.
 

An interesting historical hike of about 4 km!
