My circuit route started at the car park adjacent to Westerfolds' Park, off Fitzimmon's Rd, then up the Transmission Line Track, along the Candlepark Park summit track, down to the Main Yarra Trail, along the boardwalk, gthen on to the lower level Yarra River Track, and return to base.
Good views from the summit across the orchards and farms, and to the Yarra Ranges.

Howdy Bob, some nice shots here although those huge power lines send a shiver up my spine! Some of the hills the tracks went past sure are a little bare, I guess this is from the firs, is this why it is called "Candlebark"?

Michael, The candlebark is a medium sized tree of the genus Eucalyptus. It occurs in south eastern Australia and Tasmania, typically in open woodland around the lower slopes of the Great Dividing Range,
