The Ferndale Trail is a shared use path for cyclists and pedestrians in the suburb of Glen Iris, an inner eastern suburb of Melbourne, Victoria. It's useful as it provides a shortcut between Gardiners Creek Trail and Anniversary Trail.
I explored a section of this Trail on August 6, 2013, 3 km return, starting at Summerhill Rd, turnaround at Nettlefold Park.
The Trail follows the alignment of the Back Creek, which is now buried in pipes.
The Trail passes through Hill and Dale Park (the BMX area), Ferndale Park, and Back Creek Reserve.
