A visit to the Reserve on Sep 16 2015. It adjoins the Dandenong Creek Trail, between Eastlink and Wantirna Rd, opposite the Ringwood Golf Course, and is managed by Knox City Council. Extensively landscaped with gravel pathways between several ponds - a table/seating area is at the edge of the Trail where you may rest and enjoy the songs of the frogs and watch the water birds.
Prior to the 1960s, the Creek flowed on the site of the wetlands but was realigned to its present position.
The vegetation in the Reserve was originally Riperian and Floodplain.
