A 2 km circuit hike on Jan 24 2016 around the Park, with some side-track exploration of the bushland next to the Yarra. The Main Yarra Trail is on the opposite bank.
Situated at the confluence of the Plenty and Yarra Rivers, this 33
hectare park was an important meeting place for the Wurundjeri people.
Birrarrung Park is a significant recreation space within the parks along
the Yarra River, incorporating two large ephemeral wetlands.
Howdy Bob, it looked calm, serene and overcast here but what a beautiful place to visit, great for a nice summer stroll! Thanks for sharing and best regards! Michael
