🌠A 2 km exploration on Dec 22 2016, starting at Burwood Highway. The old wooden lokout has recently been dismantled by Whitehorse Council due to safety issues. However, there are good views from the high point across the Dandenong Valley towards the Dandenongs. Council has placed signs in the area, advising that a new Lookout is being planned, and seeks suggestions from visitors.
Thanks for the photos. Not an area of Whitehorse that I've seen much of. From the looks of it, it seems to have been infested with a lot of woody weeds - is that a Willow in 4th photo? Don't hold your breath for City of Whitehorse to get the rebuilding underway any time in the foreseeable future. They promised to reseal (make safe) dodgy paths around Surrey Park/Aqualink 4 1/2 years ago ... still waiting
