Horseshoe Lagoon is Moama's Wetland and Floodplain Reserve, which is one of 7,000 wetlands along the Murray River, and is home to native birtds, animals, plants and fish.
The reserve is widely used for walking, bird watching, running, bike riding, seed collecting and other low-impact activities.
The Lagoon is reached from the Cobb Highway, just before the brdge (travelling south), via the road to the Riverside Caravan Park. A small carpark is located at the start of an elevated boardwalk. where a large Info Board describes the Lagoon, its fauna, flora and ecology.
The boardwalk follows a circuit, passing the Moama Public Wharf, which also doubles as a high-dive for those with sufficient courage!
