Photos of January 24, 2018, on a 2 km hike starting at the canoe launching ramp at the end of Lower Homestead Rd. This followed the Yarra bushland reservation, adjacent to the boundary of the expansive Golf and Country Club property. The Bird Hide has fallen into neglect, due to lack of evffective maintenance, and the view from it across the Lake is now totally obstructed by widespread blackberry infestation.
Wow Bob, a huge set of photos here showing this great place to visit, are the blackberries supposed to be kept under control by Parks Victoria or don't they bother these days?
