The trail meanders through parks, reserves, and picnic areas, crossing several streets, and follows the valley of the Bushy Creek.
Stands of remnant forest are a feature of this trail, and the meeting halls of Scouts and Guides are passed.
My 4 km (return) route started at the Koonung Secondary College, off Box Hill Crescent, to Strabane Avenue.
