The Dandenong Ranges Tourist Track is a 15 km walking route linking the towns of Emerald and Sassafras, 45 km east of Melbourne.
The Track was constructed 101 years ago, in 1907, for excursionists from Melbourne.
This album shows the 5 km (return) Moxham's Rd to Rankin's Rd section of the track, in the Monbulk district, which runs alongside the Sassafras Creek, through splendid fern gullies.
I hiked this track on March 8, 2008.
