Hol's Track in the Mt. Evelyn Forest

Hol's Track links Wilkilla Avenue (in the north) with Wallaby Track (south) and contains one of the steepest and slippery "big dipper" sections in the entire Forest! This is certainly not recommended immediately after it's been raining. The ascent and descent over the creek is almost as bad as the "1000 Steps up the Kokoda Trail" in the Ferntree Gully section of the Park!

I met up with three other walkers, who had become hopelessly lost - they had come up from the Olinda Creek Walking Track down in the valley, so we all went along Hol's Track, which is not very well signposted!I I left them at Bridge Track, and they were last seen making their way to Wallaby Track, and then back to their starting point at the Silvan Dam car-park.

I now have only two shorter tracks to do to complete everything in the Mt. Evelyn Section!
