The Woodland Walk is in the Lysterfield Park, 40 km east of Melbourne.
I visited this area of the Park on May 13, 2007, enjoying excellent views and meeting a few kangaroos!
Woodland Walk passes through dense bushland, is very steep, with a change in altitude of 80m, from a high point of 190m to a low point of 110m!
The route was about 5 km total.

Hi Bob,
ReplyDeleteAny chance you could let us know how you got to the Woodland walk (and how you returned)? It doesn't seem like you can get to the Woodland walk by car so I'm interested in where you came from. Is this part of the walk included in your 5km estimate?
I walked up to Trig Point Lookout via Bayview & Ridge Tks (return via Stonemasons & Syphon Tks) today... Beautiful spot!
Cheers
Neil
