The Cockatoo-Emerald Trail is a 6 km track, linking the Enerald Lake Park and the Cockatoo Picnic Ground, in the hills 50 km east of Melbourne.
It passes through the interesting Wright Forest, and crosses the Cockatoo Creek. The Puffing Billy narrow gauge railway is nearby!
I explored the Cockatoo end of this Trail on August 14, 2007.
