Dandenong Ranges Tourist Track, Beagley's Bridge to Kay's Picnic Ground

The Dandenong Ranges Tourist Track is a 15 km walking trail linking the towns of Sassafras and Emerald, 45 km east of Melbourne.

I hiked the 4 km (return) sector of the track from Beagley's Bridge to Kay's Picnic Ground, on March 6, 2008, along the Sassafras Creek.

The Track is well-maintained by the Yarra Ranges Shire, passing through beautiful forest and tree ferns, and over little footbridges.
