Mullum Mullum Creek Trail - Ringwood

The Mullum Mullum Creek Trail is in Ringwood, and incorporates the Mullum Mullum Cultural Heritage Trail Loop, of about 800 m, on both sides of the creek.

I explored this Trail on a 4 km return hike on February 14, 2013, from my starting point at the Mullum Mullum Reserve, on Mullum Mullum Rd, with a turnabout at Oban Rd.

Carvings of native fauna watch over hikers and cyclists!

The Trail follows the twists and turns of the creek, past several areas that are being revegetated by Council and the local bushcare group. Stands of large pine trees are a reminder of the early European orchardists.

There are two footbridges.

The full trail actually extends from Warrandyte Rd to Highland Rd, about 6 km one way.

It is quite cool under the pine trees.
