Brock Spur - Kinglake National Park

Brock Spur is a relatively new public Section of the Kinglake National Park, 85 km east of Melbourne.

It is very rugged, with superb views to the Toolangi State Forest and the Mt. St. Leonards' Range.

There are only two walking tracks: Brock Spur Track and Banksia Ridge Track.

Brocks Spur Track starts at Mt. Slide, about 400m, and descends to about 250m.

The views from both Tracks are among the best in this Section of the 21,000 hectares Park.

I walked both tracks on February 13, 2007, about 7 km total.
